This project involved turning a 79,000 word transcript of both Hank Harris’s writing and his conversations with industry experts into a unified and organized book. The material had to be cleaned up, terminologies used and assumptions made in the transcript were clarified and fact-checked, and the flow of ideas within the conversations was given more structure.

Hank Harris brings his decades of expertise and intelligence to bear on this crucial issue, revealing what it takes to build a firm that generates real value – not only in equity for its owners, but in productive careers for those it employs and the economic wellbeing of the communities it serves.
