In the March 2013 issue of CE News, publisher Mark C. Zweig has written a great review of Achieving Zero: My Life and Love of Consulting Engineering.
He also talks about the day he visited David Evans and Associates and admired the fleet of classic Thunderbirds and Studebakers in the parking lot, where most engineeing firms would have had a few dozen standard issue white Tauruses. That tells you something about David's unique perspective on life!
Check out Zweig's review, and read David's book, now available at all major book outlets in both print and eBook format.
David's book would be a great gift for those high school graduates who are considering engineering as a career, or the engineer in your family who aspires to start her own firm some day.
If you'd also like to tell the story of your career and the challenges and triumphs of building your firm, call me.
